Lea Nursery School is a vibrant, inclusive and nurturing setting for children aged 2–5. We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Nursery Teacher and SENCo. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-quality early years provision and champion inclusive practice within a well-established local authority-maintained nursery school.
Main Duties Include:

Teaching children aged 2–5 in line with the EYFS statutory framework

Leading inclusive practice and coordinating provision for children with SEND
-
Supporting staff with early identification, intervention and graduated SEND support
-
Liaising with families, external agencies and the local authority

Monitoring and evaluating the impact of SEND provision
-
Contributing to the school’s development and safeguarding culture
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
-
Holds QTS or Level 6 Early Years Teacher Status

Has at least 2 years’ experience in an EYFS setting
-
Has a sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and SEND Code of Practice

Is committed to inclusive education and child-centred practice

Can lead, support and inspire colleagues across the team
